Wike called on the church to continue to pray for the Government because it believes in the power of God in the enthronement of peace, security and development of the State.
According to the Governor, ”God will give us the grace to finish what He has mandated us to do for the people in Rivers State despite our lean finances”, expressing delight to the Foundation Faith Church for holding the Salem Outpouring Conference in Port Harcourt.
In his exhortation, the Archbishop of Foundation Faith Church, Salem Family Worldwide, Dr. Sam Amaga stressed the need for Christians to have good relationship with God, emphasizing that it was only when Christians receive Christ that they will have eternal life.
Amaga used the occasion to appeal to the state government to provide the church with a parcel of land to enable it build a private University for the training of God-fearing people who will lead the country in the way of the Lord.
