Uniport Senate Shuts Down University Indefinitely


The university of Port Harcourt (Uniport) Senate has closed down the University for a period of one month due to the ‎ violent demonstration and disruption of the 1st semester Examination by the students. The students on Monday protested against the University’s “No school fee’s no Exams” policy which later resulted in the killing of a final year student of the department of Accounting (Ofurum Peter a.k.a Sir P.) by a police officer.

The students are expected to vacate the school premises immediately.
