Governor Nyesom Wike assures oil and gas companies of adequate security in Rivers State

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has assured oil and gas companies of adequate security during their operations in Rivers state. He made this known on Tuesday, 2nd of February, 2016 through his Special Assistant on electronic media, Simeon Nwakaudu.

Rivers State governor made this known when he granted audience to the management of Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC). He said his responsibility is to provide enabling environment for  all businesses in the state.

As part of his achievement in this regard, the governor has provided adequate security around Omoku, the operational base of NAOC.

The governor urged the oil company to improve on its social responsibility to the host communities and also complete its on going rehabilitation project at Agip junction to Agip headquaters for the benefit of Rivers people.
